From Belstead Parish Council.
The Parish Council have arranged for residents of Wherstead and Belstead to attend a free open evening at Jimmy’s farm and Wildlife Park, giving an opportunity for local residents to understand the operation and future plans of the Park:
Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park is one of the major attractions in Suffolk and has agreed to hold an open evening for the adult residents of Wherstead and Belstead on
the 2nd of September between 19.00 and 21.00
The evening will give the team at the park an opportunity to explain their future plans and for local residents to ask questions about the operation.
The evening will start with a brief tour of the ‘Lost Lands of the Tundra’ area of the park and then adjourn to a seating area for a presentation by the Park’s management team.
To ensure a prompt start can I ask all residents arrive by 18.50 and meet by the large ‘Jimmy’s’ sign at the top of the Car Park.
The format of the evening will be:
- Welcome by Park Director Stevie Sheppard
- Tour of ‘The Lost Lands of the Tundra’
- Overview of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park. Including the history and where they are today.
- Marketing and event plans
- Who are ‘Space for the Wild?’ Discussing the park’s registered charity
- Question time
To help us manage the evening and make sure we have enough tea and coffee, it would be helpful if you could confirm how many people will be attending.
Please contact Samantha Barber, Parish Clerk Belstead.pc@btinternet.com, to advise how many people will be in your group. Thank you.
We look forward to seeing you for this event.
